My April Reading Plan

Yes, there’s a plan. There’s always a plan. But sometimes, the plan doesn’t always work out, and then? You need a Plan B. Doesn’t everyone have a plan B? And eh, where was I going with this? Oh, yeah, the books I’m planning on reading in April, since March was such a bust.

My books from Indigo arrived yesterday and, when I took them out to look at the covers, I discovered they all feature water. Either the sea or a lake, and all stormy looking  hmm!

Anyway, here’s my proposed list having already finished THE LIAR:

  • KINGDOM OF THE BLIND by Louise Penny
  • US AGAINST YOU by Fredrik Backman
  • RESURRECTION BAY by Emma Viskic
  • THE DARK LAKE by Sarah Bailey
  • SALT TO THE SEA by Ruta Sepetys
  • TWISTED by Steve Cavanagh

And you, what reading, if anything, do you have planned, or will you just wing it?

  1. So, water on your mind, huh? Well, that produced some wonderful titles here. I’m especially interested in your views about Salt to the Sea. I’m looking to bump that one up.

    Enjoy everything

I’m planning on reading The Dark Lake next, this weekend, and maybe I should read Salt To The Sea next, as everyone is so excited by this one. 😀

And thanks, I hope I do, Jonetta!

  2. Oh my goodness, Salt to the Sea is one of the best books I’ve read! This looks like a wonderful plan, Alexandra. I look forward to following what you get to!

You really sold it to me with your passionate review, Sophie, so I’m sure I will. And anyway, I got the hardback for $6 Canadian, less than a latte! 😀

Yay for Us Against You! <3 🙂 It was so good! Just thinking about that book makes me want to ramble and go around telling everyone they should read it 😀

I'm hoping to catch up with the Steve Cavanagh series as well.

After reading Ove, I knew I loved Backman’s writing, so yeah, that with your review on Us Against You I knew I’d be reading more from him.

Steve is fast becoming a top fav, so looking forward to TWISTED.
