Meet The Authors

Alexandra Wolfe

ALEXANDRA WOLFE is not a New York Times bestselling author and isn’t likely to be. But she definitely knows what types of stories she likes to read…and, as a consequence, writes in a lot of different genres.

To date, she has written everything from space opera to murder-mysteries, police procedurals to science fantasy, futuristic fantasies to tales of the supernatural with a paranormal twist. Crossing, mixing, and merging genres as the need arises and suits her whim.

One thing you can be certain of, all of Alexandra’s work feature strong female characters engaged in a variety of adventures involving mystery, danger and yes, occasionally, some romance.

Alexandra lives in Québec, Canada, with her long time partner, a library-sized collection of books, and an unhealthy amount of toys.

Mark J. Howard

MARK J. HOWARD has a style of writing reminiscent of the humour of Rankin and Pratchett, which is often set in a quaint English locale just brimming with ancient evil or a past that won’t stay where its supposed to, in the past. His stories are an eclectic mix of science fiction, fantasy, running gags, and twisted English humour. He offers up an outrageous list of characters you’re more likely to meet down the pub, than saving the universe with nothing more than an antiquated Ealing motorcycle, a bag of elastic bands, a pair of pliers, and a battered box of Swan Vesta matches.

If you are a fan of ribald and sometimes, not so subtle humour, where Lord of the Rings meets Doctor Who, then Howard’s work will probably be right up your dark alley.

Howard is also becoming well known for his comic work, writing for such established titles as Judge Dread and AD2000.
