Our very own Hive Mind member, Tonya R. Moore, was interviewed recently by Corbin Silverthorn over at Silverthorn Press ezine, which is a free bi-monthly paranormal fantasy ezine.
Here’s a snippet of what Tonya had to say about discovering her love of writing.
“I had an epiphany when I was twelve years old. I always laugh when I think back on that moment. I’d always been an avid reader/story-lover. One day, I was in total geek-mode and complaining to a classmate about some book I’d been reading and how awful it was. Most likely out of sheer exasperation, she said that if I knew so much about books I should write them myself.”

That’s an excellent interview. Informative and fun. I can relate–Bradbury was one of my early faves/influences…and I blame my mother for genre choice as well. She handed me a horror anthology with HP Lovecraft in it when I was perhaps 8. Changed me for life, haha!
Good stuff, Tonya!
Thanks John Claud. It was a really great experience and I’m glad I got a chance to reminisce about all those great writers’ works.
