Talking, Ursula K. Le Guin
Posted on July 30, 2012
The inimitable Ms. Le Guin is still duking it out, at 82, railing against the likes of Google (resigning from the Author’s Guide as a result) and yes, berating the Sci Fi Channel, who, in a limp, watered-down adaptation, totally eviscerated her work, A Wizard of Earthsea.
Still poking a stick at the inane, Ms. Le Guin gives us her opinion on the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, voicing almost the same quiet concerns about Danny Boyle’s over-blown extravaganza, as mine. What were they thinking?
Anyway, follow the links, and go have a read.
